I started this collection in the summer of 2023 in a mountain cabin trip to Tunhovd in Norway. The quest to finish a painting in three days made the partner a little lonely in the evenings but got me hooked enough to buy up on my paint equipment when I got back :D

Making the frame

The idea for this painting came from the wine crates found in Mallorca. It reminded me of how value travels down with generations, and is now available in the frame.

Painting bigger and better

Life passes by

 The first large canvas took a lot of time as I spent a little over two months on it. It took two tries and I erased the whole first attempt. But something happened to me that made me addicted to size.

The desire for speed often leads to a simplification of the rules. In pursuit of my one-week deadline, I opted for a smaller approach. Alas, on the third day, duties began to emerge, and exhaustion and excursions took up a week, then two, when Corona entered. Despite the setback, four weeks have passed, and it is all good
